Santa Anna became President of Mexico in 1833. He decided to stop new Americans coming into
Texas and California colonys owned by Mexico. The Americans made the Teaxas Revolution and the Americans destroyed citys. However Santa Anna and the Mexicans destroyed the Alamo and most of the remaining Americans.However the Mexican settlers and remaining Americans
wanted to be a part of the states and won the war at Sann Antonio. Then the Mexicans would fight and force Santa Anna into exile in 1844. The Mexicans argued over Annas border starting the War.Santa Anna would retake control of Mexico and lose the War.
